Taking place on September 24th at 14:00 (CET), we will continue to highlight voices of marginalized groups through a ‘pass the mic’ ethos, aimingto better support a meaningful participatory process for populations that are often left behind in global dialogues.
Fahmy Hanna, Technical Officer, Mental Health and Substance Use, World Health Organization
Grace Gatera, Mental Health and NCDs lived experience advocate and Commissioner on the Lancet Commission on Gender Based Violence and the Maltreatment of Young people, Rwanda.
Chantelle Booysen, Global Mental Health and NCD advocate social impact entrepreneur, South Africa
The next Civil Society Working Group on NCDs webinar will explore industry interference and conflict of interest before and during COVID-19. The pandemic has shed light on health-harming industry tactics and partnerships with Member States, Civil Society Organizations and UN agencies and other stakeholders that challenge coherence in NCD policies and actions due to conflict of interest and potential for undue influence in policy development and implementation. The webinar will take place on Friday 18 September at 15:00 and you can sign up here.
