Ao.Univ.Prof. Dr. Berit Schneider-Stickler
Berit Schneider-Stickler studied human medicine and music in Berlin/Germany. She completed training as a specialist in ear, nose and throat medicine at the universities in Berlin and Essen/Germany. Afterwards, she moved to Vienna/Austria for a specialist training in Phoniatrics at the Medical University of Vienna. Currently, she is deputy head of the Department of Phoniatrics-Logopedics of the Medical University of Vienna. In addition, she works as a voice speciaist in private practice.She is author and co-editor of two textbooks (“Voice diagnostics”, “Tracheotomy and care of tracheostoma”/both Springer). For many years she has been involved in the diagnostics and therapy of laryngological disorders. Her scientific interests lie after years of occupation-related vocal disorders in the field of neurolaryngology.
