The Aphasia Committee aims to facilitate:
improved awareness and understanding of aphasia internationally; the clinical implementation of high-quality aphasia intervention based on the best research evidence internationally; the inclusion of communication professionals from under-represented or developing countries and the representation of the needs of people with aphasia and healthcare professionals internationally; the representation of aphasia related issues to other organisations and the IALP Board.
